Advantages

Disadvantages
1. High purchase cost
The unit price of Gen7 printhead is far higher than Gen5 and Gen6, raising the overall equipment cost for manufacturers. Replacement cost in later use also brings higher operating expenses. 2. Higher technical requirements for equipment matching It demands precise control boards, ink supply systems and carriage motion systems to fully release its high-speed performance.
Ordinary low-end machine configurations cannot bring out its full advantages, leading to insufficient printing speed and unstable ink jetting.
3. Strict requirements on ink quality The elaborate internal circulation channel is sensitive to inferior ink containing excessive impurities. Unqualified ink will cause channel blockage and accelerate printhead wear,
requiring users to adopt high-quality industrial ink.
4. Heavy maintenance cost if improperly operated Long-term idle without daily circulation cleaning will still cause ink coagulation inside the tiny flow channels. Once severely clogged,
the printhead is hard to repair and often needs full replacement.
