Nozzle failure is one of the most frequent and troublesome issues for UV printer users, which directly leads to poor printing quality, production delays and material waste. Many beginners often encounter problems such as missing dots, broken lines, partial clogging, and oblique inkjet but cannot solve them quickly. The first common problem is nozzle clogging and missing dots. The main causes include long-term machine shutdown without ink moisturizing, dust and ink residue accumulation on the nozzle surface, and unqualified UV ink with impurity precipitation. For slight clogging, users can perform automatic nozzle cleaning through the system’s built-in cleaning program and execute ink pumping to dredge the ink channel. Long-term printing will produce ink mist condensation, which changes the ink ejection angle. The solution is to clean the nozzle surface thoroughly, calibrate the ink pressure parameters, and perform nozzle alignment test again to ensure vertical and uniform ink ejection.
In addition, nozzle ink leakage and dripping often occurs due to damaged ink stack, poor sealing of the ink tube interface, or excessive negative pressure. Users need to check the tightness of ink circuit connections, replace aging sealing accessories in time, and adjust the negative pressure value to the standard range specified by the device. To extend nozzle service life, daily maintenance is essential: clean the ink stack and waste ink tank regularly, use original qualified UV ink, and keep the machine running moisturizing state during long shutdowns.
